You left me no food, and took my sleep away.
You turned your face from me,
Then directed me to the Mihrab[1].
You changed the taste in my mouth,

The nightingale says to the rose bud,
“Tell me, who is in your heart?
No one is around, we are alone.”
“We are not alone here,” the rose answers,
“As long as you are with yourself.
